Dark, funny and poignant, Cusp explores the profound impact of time and place on the lives of two women, and questions the things we value, the places we call home, and the spaces between life and death.
On a hot, hard day in 1990, Lena Hawkins reluctantly returns from New York. In Perth, Mavis Hawkins feels as if she has spent her whole life waiting.
But now her wait is over. Her only daughter is about to land, and she must tell her the truth.
While Mavis struggles to make her daughter see what is right before her eyes, Lena's past hounds her, threatening to obscure the present and the future.
